The MBI Reentry Wellness Program is dedicated to moving communities forward by providing services and resources to support Returning Citizens to successfully reintegrate back into their communities. The MBI Reentry Wellness Program is a U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), Office of Justice Programs (OJP), Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) Second Chance Act Comprehensive Community-based Adult Reentrygrant funded program that has allowed MBI to build on existing reentry services and evaluate program outcomes.

The MBI Reentry Wellness Program provides evidence based, comprehensive services such as:

  • Mental Health Services

  • Substance Use Treatment

  • Individual and Group Therapy

  • Social Support

  • Employment Readiness and Placement

  • Mentoring Services

We launched this program in October 2020 - during the COVID-19 pandemic. We developed our service model in consideration of the COVID-19 safety guidelines and protocols. We follow the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and District of Columbia health guidelines and operate primarily virtually and all in-person sessions are socially distanced while wearing protective face masks. Our doors remain open to servicing our District Returning Citizens.
